Jakarta Police issue warnings over planned rallies today

The Jakarta Traffic Police have issued warnings of possible traffic congestion as eight rallies are scheduled to hit the city streets on Wednesday.

The police have listed the rally sites as follows:

• The Supreme Court building on Jl. Medan Merdeka Utara, the Judicial Commission office on Jl. Kramat Raya, and the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, starting at 9 a.m.

• The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Jl. HR Rasuna Said, South Jakarta at 10 a.m.

• The Religious Affairs Ministry on Jl. Lapangan Banteng Barat, Central Jakarta, Jakarta City Hall on Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, and the Jakarta Tourism Agency at 1 p.m.

• The National Police headquarters on Jl. Trunojoyo, South Jakarta at 1 p.m.

• The PT Prodia Widyahusada company office on Jl. Kramat Raya, Central Jakarta.

• The Permata Senayan apartment tower, South Jakarta.
